11th July at Kidderminster Harriers' Sports and Social Club.
The attendance was low, due mainly, I believe, to the
World Cup Match, involving England, who eventually lost 2-1.
The dancers who came, said that they had a good night,
in spite of the heat. At least there was plenty of room on
the dance floor!!

On Saturday 17th March 2018, Jean and I spent the day
visiting The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam railway.
It was a bitterly cold day with occasional sun and some
snow flurries. We made the return trip to Cheltenham
Race Course, stopping off at Winchcombe.

Rather interestingly, we were originally booked to go to
the Royal Naval Association Club at Leamington Spa on this
day, but due to it's unfortunate closure we had the day free.

On Tuesday 23rd January 2018 Jean and I travelled to
Gloucester, where I was booked to play for the Gloucestershire
Keyboard and Organ Club.
I had played there previously in 2016 and this was a return visit.
It was a very enjoyable occasion for us and hopefully the members
enjoyed the evening. They were very generous in their applause.
It was good to see everyone again. We hopefully look forward to

Monday 15th January 2018 saw us at Bedworth Liberal Club
for the " Solo Club Dance ".
I always enjoy playing at this venue and the members really

On the evening of Monday 18th December 2017,
Shelfield Male Voice Choir gave a Carol Concert
at Shelfield Methodist Church, Lichfield Road.
The evening was well attended by a very appreciative
The choir, along with their conductor and accompanist,
were in fine form.
I was invited to play the organ and Jean and I thoroughly
enjoyed the evening.

Shelfield Male Voice Choir is a supporter of charities and
to date, has raised many thousands of pounds.
The Choir meets at 7-30pm every Monday evening at
Shelfeild Methodist Church, Lichfield Road, WS4 1PU.
New members are always welcome, so just come along!
Jean and I were invited back to Tipton for a Christmas Lunch
and Dance Party on Friday 15th December.
We had a fabulous Christmas Dinner and I played music
afterwards and we really had a great time.

On Tuesday 12th December,Jean and I travelled
to Rugby and really enjoyed our evening there with
the dance club, at their Christmas Dance Party.

On Saturday 25th November I was invited to play for
the Walsall Scottish Society at their St. Andrew's Night
Dinner and Dance, which was held at Druids Heath
Golf Club. Both Jean and I received a very warm welcome
and we were invited to sit down to an excellent meal.
Afterwards there was dancing, the music being all Scottish.
During the evening I took a break and was able to take the
above picture during a Scottish Country Dance.
It was the evening of 10th November 2017 and I was
invited to play music for the " Poppy Dance " at
Brook Street Community Centre, Tipton, West Midlands.

During the evening there was a lot of flag waving
and leading this was Lisa.

Sometimes, I am invited to play for a Tea Dance at
Coseley Working Mens Club, ( The Ivy House ).
This takes place on Fridays from 1-00pm-4-00pm
and is usually well attended.
